Clothier

A proper shop, in the proper place.

A few minutes up Richmond Road from Colonial Williamsburg — in a town where gentlemen have taken their tailoring seriously for three centuries — B. Jordan Menswear keeps the old arrangement alive: honest cloth, a patient fitting, and counsel you can trust. The walls are Alabaster, the millwork Turkish Coffee, the door a deep Sommelier — and the standard, as ever, is the man who walks out the door looking entirely like himself.

Made to Measure

Cut to one figure: yours.

When the rack will not do — and for some gentlemen it never quite does — we take some two dozen measures, settle the cloth and the details over coffee, and have the garment built to you alone. Six to eight weeks, patience rewarded.

  1. I.ConsultationCloth, cut, and occasion — settled in conversation.
  2. II.The MeasureTwo dozen measures and notes on how you actually stand.

Every Occasion

Our Story

An old soul,
newly threaded.

The paint is fresh — Alabaster, Turkish Coffee, a Sommelier door — but the man behind the counter has spent six decades on fine menswear floors, from Ralph Lauren's first borrowed showroom to Merchants Square. The address is new. The experience walked in with him.

The first shop in years where someone looked at my shoulders before my wallet. I left with one suit and the unsettling urge to own five.
